When things go wrong, sometimes all you can do is hope for the best. But for the people involved in these costly mess-ups, things turned out the absolute worst. At the very least, most of these people probably have enough money that nothing really matters.
Busted Ferraris feature a few times here, and it looks like their drivers might be the next evolution of everyone's least favorite BMW pilots. The most expensive crashed Ferrari has to be an old F-40, valued at about $3.2 million. The F-40 was listed as "for sale," and was being driven by a 24-year-old dealer employee who wrecked it on a highway near Stuttgart. Fortunately, he was ok, and the car isn't a complete write-off, but that might just be the fastest a day of work has ever turned from the best ever, to the worst.
