Whether you've lost your debit cards, don't have any branches/ATMs nearby, or just have a general fear of touching something that's passed through so many hands, cashless payment apps like Venmo and Paypal can be a real lifesaver.
Unfortunately, these apps DO monitor what you're sending the money for and if they catch something fishy in the memo line, you could wind up getting your account frozen as this dude did.
