Last-Minute Revelation: Company Grants Raise Upon Receiving Resignation Letter

Anyone who has worked, or is working a job knows that at some point and time, a request for a raise is due.  It can be an intimidating ordeal for people, especially if you have never asked for one before, are intimated by your boss or upper management, or just don't like having to stand up for yourself in a business setting.


However, like with many things in life doing so is in your best interest (if you're being realistic with your request, of course) and it is one of those things that if you don't ask you will never know.
