Obviously, assisting and providing support to a new employee is the right thing to do, but how long do you let it go on before you have to pull back, focus on your own duties, and expect them to figure it out and do things on their own?

What if your constant questions and requests for assistance are hindering their own performance and possibly the reason they no longer want to help?
