All that's left is in captivity (that or grown in vats and released into the astroturf timeshares in the borderlands). We fantasize about a past where there are animals and greenery, wildlife both wild and living. 

We yearn for a simpler time, a return to something more primal. And so we larp. The year is 2099. The closest we come to animalistic pleasure is the furry petting zoos, where you can give or receive light or heavy petting in government sanctioned fursuits (with government mandated fursonas). 

The first 10 images depict animal caretakers at the Wolong Giant Panda Reserve, the world’s largest giant panda breeding center in Sichuan, China. Scientists dress in panda suits and rub themselves with panda excrement to minimize stress and human attachment for pandas in the wildlife reserve.
