The Internet Can't Help But Make Fun of Amy Schumer
Peter Rapine Published 05/10/2022
No matter what Amy Schumer does there will be a crowd of people who demand she be burned like a witch. We don't want to fall into that crowd, but she doesn't make it easy on us. Over the weekend the comedian shared a joke on stage at Netflix's comedy event 'Netflix Is A Joke' that she said she was barred from sharing at the Oscars.
The joke goes, “My husband goes down on me, or as he calls it Squid Game, so he’s in my Nightmare Alley, my House of Gucci, I say C’mon C’mon, he goes tick tick BOOM, he Belfast. I say get off my Dune and that’s how our son was born.”
Now we've surely heard worse, but leave it to Amy to come out blazing with material that wasn't even funny enough for the Oscars' producers. Needless to say, the internet hated it and thus commenced at 18k quote tweet pile on.
