There's nothing quite like freshly-fallen snow.

A nice fresh snowfall is kind of a magical thing, especially as a kid. I remember when I was little my mom would stand on the balcony of our house and toss Rafaello candies - which are all-white with a white wrapper - into the snow for my sister and me to find. It kept us busy AND sugared up for hours, while my mom got to stay out of the snow and relatively warm. Clever lady!
