People who own cats understand that cats are just different. Or should I actually say, people who are owned by cats understand that cats are just different. After all, the famous quote by Mark Vette states that, "Dogs have owners, cats have staff." It's a hard concept to explain, but if you know you know. The thing about cats is that they will do whatever they please, whenever they please to do it. Unlike dogs, they couldn't care less about what's going on with you unless it relates to them. Usually in the sense of being fed. But then every now and again, they flip that switch and become the most loving and affectionate animals on the planet. And when that happens, it's truly special because you know you've earned it. Cats pick and choose carefully who they love, so when one loves you, you know it's real.
