41 Terrible Album Covers Whose Artists Needed a Graphic Design Lesson

They say never to judge a book by its cover. But does that hold true for album covers? 

It’s pretty hard not to judge some of these albums just by looking at their covers. It looks like some of these designers needed a lot more practice with CGI before slapping it onto their art.

Seriously, most of these covers look more like bowling alley animations than works of art. And what is it about metal music that leads to so many of the album covers being so bad? Is it brain damage from banging their heads?

Regardless, forget the music for a minute and just take these album covers at face value. It’s time to send some of these artists back to school.
