They say those who ignore history are doomed to repeat it, and I genuinely think we've been stuck in the same cycles for way too long. Sure, our tech has gotten more advanced and we are capable of doing a lot more these days, but it really seems like we can't seem to get over our short-sightedness as a species.

Sadly, history is just not taught in a way that most people will ever take enough interest in it to actually learn something. That's where I'm hoping these history memes can help.

While they may not teach the deeper lessons that history has to offer, they certainly pique more interest in historical events than a boring old textbook would. Hopefully, these memes act as an introduction and eventually send people down a rabbit hole of learning!
