Spray tans are still a big part of our culture. Celebrities use them, and we’re really not sure why. Ariana Grande has gotten a lot of flak for going a few shades darker than looks natural, even fending off some accusations of masquerading as a Hispanic person. Rachel Dolezal is probably the most famous abuser of tanning technology. And of course, there’s the President. 

But despite some famous warnings that spray tans are a bad idea, there are still a ton of people braving the booth and making a mistake that is far darker than they realize.
