32 ‘Real-Life Superheroes’ Just Looking for an Excuse to Dress Up

Comic book characters like Spider-Man and Green Lantern are beloved by losers all around the world. They stand for justice and hope, and rescue helpless pedestrians from distracted drivers. It’s no surprise a comic book fan might want to become a real-life superhero.

In real life, though, there’s no such thing as radioactive spiders or laser vision. And last I checked, there aren’t too many cackling supervillains running around either. So what’s left to do? Well, dress up in a colorful skintight costume and walk around the city streets where lots of people can see you, that’s what.
