Photographs are kind of like a box of chocolates; you never what you're going to get. Especially with the sheer number of people that exist in the world. There's an opportunistic comedian or stroke of hilariously bad timing waiting on every corner, it seems.

Kind of like that one time we got photobombed by Sobek, the Crocodile-headed God of Egypt. At first, we were taken aback, of course -- it's not every day that you run into a celebrity of Sobek's caliber. But he turned out to be a very chill and normal-seeming dude. Way more laid back than Huitzilopochtli -- we had to sacrifice three and a half interns before he'd go away.

The beings captured in the backgrounds of the photos below may not be powerful, transcendental deities like Sobek, but will be forever immortalized in their hilarious creations.
