There is a very good reason that people today look younger than their counterparts from 30 and 40 years ago. And it's not just that everyone back then was smoking cigarettes and had bad hairstyles, although that is a contributing factor.
Might be the microplastics that are keeping people younger today? Probably not. Could be the health crazes? Maybe. Could it be sunscreen? Most definitely. But when we go back and look at photos of people from the past, two things stand out. Their hairstyles aren't doing them any favors and we can tell they aren't drinking enough water.
