27 Glimpses into the Future of the Human Race

Humans have come a long way since being monkeys. And a lot of the steps along that 8 million journey looked pretty strange. You or I can only guess what we might eventually look like in the future as we continue to evolve and adapt to our increasingly specific circumstances.

Luckily, there are people who study this kind of thing: Speculative biologists like Dougal Dixon make informed guesses about what species might look like after millions of years of natural selection. To be honest, if they’re even a little bit right, I’m glad I won’t be around to see the future.
