25 Times YouTube Recommendations Opened a Portal to an Alternate Universe

Most of us hunker down in our little corner of YouTube and watch the videos we like, but sometimes the YouTube algorithm decides to remind us that YouTube is a big and scary place. 

I can’t count the number of times I’ve found myself lost in a bewildering rabbit hole because I got recommended some bizarre video and found out there was a whole community built around it.

More often than not, though, it’s better not to click on these weird recommendations. It’s important not to meddle in magic we don’t understand. Enjoy this gallery of YouTube recommendations we’d rather not learn more about.
