Are they trying to tell us something? The level of detail in some of these posts leads me to believe that these incredibly specific scenarios weren't just made up.
It's one thing to ask "Hey, if I ever accidentally killed someone, what would you do?" and it's something else entirely to ask "Hey, so hypothetically if I were to have hit a naked man riding a horse, resulting in the man's death and a permanent injury to the horse such that I had to pull out my pistol and show it mercy, and this was just off I-85 and my car were totaled, what would you do?"
