Often we take day by day inventions and technology for granted. By and large they bring immense convenience and pleasure into our lives. That is, until we run up against the ones designed by complete morons. Yeah you know the ones I mean. The ones designed with the fingerprints of corporate greed all over them, or perhaps those of complete negligence.

“Thanks Google, just downloaded a virus because of your lame ways of allowing scams onto your search engine through advertisements.”

“Experian use a graphic to scare you into buying their credit improvement services even if your score is excellent”

“I have a water delivery subscription service called Ready Refresh. If you try to cancel on their app and it says to call this number. You call the number and it says “due to high call volume our customer service team is unable to handle your call”.”

“Spam mail uses a font and color that makes the letter appear hand-written so you’re more likely to open it. It’s actually printed.”

“Dr. Squatch lets you use coupon codes… Just kidding! as soon as you hit checkout, the code is “no longer available”, no matter what code it is. (I used honey and got 10% off but then it just got cancelled). It waits for you to put in your payment info and e-mail then deletes your deals every time.”
