25 Movies and Shows That Are A Complete Waste Of Time

The holidays are nearly here. And that means time with friends and family who will tell you about movies and shows you just MUST watch.

Warning: some of those movies and shows are actually a complete waste of time. And we've rounded up the worst offenders you should avoid!

1.

Pretty Little Liars. It’s so teenager-y and cringe.

2.

Game of Thrones after the final season. I would have never bothered starting. On the same note, if I knew it was going to take a dozen years in between books, I would have never started reading it, either.

3.

I saw Suicide Squad in theaters and wanted to walk out after like 15 minutes.

4.

Wonder Woman 84. They completely dropped the ball with Pedro Pascal. He could've been a wonderful main villain and what a rubbish role he got.

5.

The Rise of Skywalker. I even enjoyed both force awakens and Last Jedi, I was really invested. by the end of 9 I thought what the heck was the point of all that?? felt like Game of Thrones by making me feel like id wasted the previous several years watching it all. I’ll probably not rewatch any of the sequel trilogy again. feels pointless now

6.

Love Island, I know you're supposed to revel in the ridiculous characters or whatever but I mostly just hated them and hated myself for hating them while also being jealous of their chiseled features.

7.

The Walking Dead. Show refuses to die. It’s a good show. It just shouldn’t have gone on this long, therefore not worth the time.

8.

Pixels is just so trash it’s unreal

9.

How I Met Your Mother. I kept thinking it had to get better. Hated Ted, hated Robin, hated Barney (which is hard cuz NPH is great). Then the best character of the whole thing is the mother, and SHE’S DEAD AND IT’S ABOUT ROBIN AGAIN. What a waste of my life.

10.

Any episode of “the Big Bang Theory”. Sheldon isn’t funny, he’s just rude.

11.

The Whedon version of Justice League.

12.

Cowboys vs Aliens. Harrison Ford. Jon Favreau. Daniel Craig. SciFi. What could go wrong? Well...a lot.

13.

The Cat in the Hat, with Mike Myers! How I wish I could have those two hours back!

14.

Willy’s Wonderland Nic Cage in a FNAF ripoff should’ve been way more entertaining than it actually was.

15.

Teens Titans GO! I was fooled into thinking it would be as good as the original. I was wrong. So very wrong

16.

Emoji Movie. Everyone said it was trash, and I was like “it can’t be that bad… can it?”It wasn’t even so bad it was funny. I genuinely watched the entire film with no emotions on my face whatsoever. I think I set a personal record. The only time I smiled was when PPAP guy showed up. That’s it. Complete waste of time!

17.

Artemis Fowl. Read the books in primary school, figured it would be fun, plus the cast gave me high hopes.I was wrong. Everything was butchered, and the result was a trainwreck of epic proportions.

18.

Cats. My brother tried defending it after the movie saying "you can't think of it like a movie, you have to think about it like a stage play" well I was in a movie theater so I think I can think of it like a movie. Also, it wasn't one of those movies that just needed a small change in perspective to make everything fit.

19.

Riverdale, it was like a trainwreck I couldn’t stop looking at

20.

Once Upon a Time. I got really invested in the first season and then it just tanked. And I was a dumb kid who didn't understand the sunk cost fallacy. One day in the middle of season 5, it just hit me that I really hated the show now, and watching it was making me unhappy. So I stopped.

21.

Left Behind. Honestly Nicolas Cage's worst movie ever, and one of the worst movies I've ever seen.

22.

The Inhumans. I got 10 minutes into it, and turned it off. I want that 10 minutes of my life back, please.

23.

Arrow got so bad the Arrow subreddit banned discussing the show and focused on Daredevil. The whole Olicity storyline was a toxic mess.

24.

Cosmic Sin, with Bruce Willis

25.

The Dracula miniseries. I really liked the first episode, and then the second episode came around and turned to absolute f*cking sh*t in the final scene. Then I realized it was written by Steven Moffat and it all made sense as to how it started so strong and went so f*cking bad.
