1. Apparently it's possible to modify the weather in Kansas, but it's illegal to do so without the proper permit.

3. Be sure your watering your lawn and only your lawn in Montana. It's against the law for a water sprinkler to get a passerby wet.

5. California, the state has a law that forbids that if a frog that dies in a frog race can not be eaten.
6. Chivalry is alive and well in the lawbooks of Michigan. In the state, it's illegal to use foul language in front of a woman.
7. Don't go overboard at your Virginian celebration it's illegal to release more than 50 balloons per hour in the state.
8. Dueling might've been how we solved our problems in the olden days, but now we rely on verbal arguments. For this reason, all Kentucky lawyers must swear an oath to refrain from dueling.
9. Get out your scales, people. In Connecticut, a bushel of potatoes must, by law, weigh 150 pounds.

10. Idaho prohibits sale of eggs from another state without warning, and anyone who uses flour that's not enriched with vitamins can face 30 days in jail!
11. If you want to hear only good news from a fortune-teller, then head to Pennsylvania. A Pennsylvania fortune-teller cannot charge money to try to shorten someone's life.

13. Having fun on your bike won't be tolerated in Utah. The state has banned the look no hands trick by law, stating that bikers must keep one hand on the handlebar at all times.

19. In the Vermont city of Middlebury, having more than one person on a skateboard at a time is illegal.
20. It's a crime in Maryland to possess more than 3 turtles at one time. There goes your dream of owning Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello, and Raphael...
21. It's a sad, sad time in Illinois. According to state law, happy hours are actually prohibited.
