Church was always boring as a kid.

Sitting there listening to a priest or pastor droll endlessly about a book felt like punishment, and no one wanted to go. It seems the people who run megachurches in America have addressed this, and now those events look less like church and more like a Taylor Swift concert. But honestly, even she may see some of these pics and say it's over the top.

Their Christmas performances go especially hard. One a few years back had live camels, thousands of performers, and huge projection screens that looked like some sort of insane alternate reality future Nuremberg rally. They also love to fly around. That same Christmas show has drummers wearing glowing outfits, drumming while floating around the stage like Peter Pan. 

It’s insane, funny, and a genuine spectacle similar to a giant rave. You know, like how the Bible says to do it.
