Some people say that there is no such thing as luck. I would tend to disagree. After all, things just happen to some people and not others, and as much as we would like to think that it all balances out in the end, it really doesn't. Perhaps it does across all of the human race, but not on the individual level. Others say, and I would tend to agree more with this, that those who are skilled are more often lucky. This often seems to apply to our favorite athletes. Why is Tom Brady so lucky? Well the fact is they consistently put themselves in good positions, so when luck falls, it falls their way. But these people don't have that. No. They were just flat out, old fashioned, unpreventably unlucky.
