20 Historical Finds That Make History Feel More Real

The earth is kind of like Forrest Gump's box of chocolates; digging deep into the dirt of our planet, you never know what you're going to get. While we all know there's people out there, digging and dusting, rarely do we ever "check in" and see some of the wild and crazy things people actually find!

1.

Lower part of a leg and foot with sandal of the over life size statue of Roman emperor Marcus Aurelius(reign 161-180 A.D.) found at Sagalassos, Turkey in 2008.

While unpacking Tut's mummy, the incredible daggers were discovered, and one of them had an iron blade with a gold handle and a crystal tip on it. In 2016, new tests were done on this dagger and it was confirmed that it was not just an ordinary iron but a "meteoric iron" that came from the stars.
