18 Unwritten Rules Everyone Should Know
More than explicitly written laws and regulations, the true bedrock of a functional society is the countless, unspoken agreements that maintain order and prevent the kind of chaos that a hooded horseman with a collection of human skulls would thrive in. Some are more salient than others; many of us know not to jump into jump into highway traffic without adequate context and to generally refrain from playing with hand grenades in the car

Don’t watch loud videos on your phone at a restaurant. Can’t believe this isn’t common courtesy anymore.
6.
Just because you know someone who does something for a living that doesn’t automatically mean they owe you a discount if you ask for their services.
8.
If someone is giving you a ride you should be ready at the door before they get there. It’s so rude to have someone waiting on you when they are doing you a favor by picking you up.
10.
If someone is wearing headphones and is clearly keeping to themselves, leave them the heck alone!
13.
If you want to go for a hike and listen to music, come with earphones or headphones. Don’t blast loud music.
17.
Don’t be an a-hole.I’m sorry you’re having a tough day, a tough life, whatever. Everyone is dealing with sh*t. Don’t be an a-hole to other people because you’re mad or hurt or scared or whatever. Others don’t deserve it.
