The John Lawson house of Wappingers Falls, NY, was one of only two inhabited homes on the street, but that wasn't the creepy part. Mannequins could be seen during the day posed outside on the porch, and their positions, clothing, and held items would change by the day. Nobody knew who lived there. Nobody would ever see anyone or anything. A few people would attempt to connect the strange events with a massive train crash that killed a number of passengers in the mid 19th century, but who knows. The latest news claims the mannequins are "gone", possibly due to someone buying the home.

This particular hand dates from 1610, and is special as it comes from a female. It's suggested she may have been adulterous although it had been kept in "glory" condition with a mahogany box.
