Meth and those who use it get a bad reputation. Whether or not this reputation is deserved, no one can know. But the general assumption about meth heads is that they’re mean, unhealthy, horrible people who will step over anyone to get their next fix.

But the folks over on r/Meth are slowly turning the tide on the community's public perception. There are some friendly guys just posting about how a quick hit of smooth crank in the morning is getting them through their work day. One guy is using meth to help him read a Narcotics Anonymous book. Another tweaked-out lurker found a cool life hack to get free food from DoorDash (he steals it).

So although the community isn’t squeaky clean, well, none of them are clean, it’s still a community, powered by nothing but comradery, kindness, and communication. Oh, and also meth.
