In order to make the expedition look like the creatures, the people had avatars, which are bodies that can be controlled.And even though all the blue characters looked alike, there were still 2 differences between the real creatures of Pandora and those with avatars. Engineers created avatars with 5 fingers, while Na’vi have only 4. And also, real Na’vi don’t have eyebrows. They have stripes on their skin that look like eyebrows, but they have no hair.
