It's shouldn't be that much of surprise that as we have advanced in both science and medicine, people look better longer. But it still makes us go, "wow, life must have been rough." But if you think this is weird, just wait for the next forty years.

In the first season of Cheers, George Wendt was 34, while his sidekick, John Ratzenberger, was 35.

Abe Vigoda was 54 when he played Detective Fish in the series, Barney Miller.
