The recent straw bans that are sweeping the nation have people memeing their frustration. Last month Seattle became the first city in the United States to ban plastic straws, with San Francisco following weeks later. Starbucks, Aramark and American Airlines have also decided to discontinue using plastic straws. While only 9% of the plastic that is used is recycled, it's understood that banning plastic straws will have little environmental effect overall. What's your take on the straw ban?
