12 Conspiracies Which Were Actually True

If you were paranoid before, wait until you see these!

CIA and Nayirah al-Sabah - A girl named Nayirah al-Sabah testified before the House in 1990, on supposed atrocities that occurred when Iraqi soldiers invaded Kuwait. They involved Iraqis killing civilians by the hundreds and throwing newborn babies out of incubators onto the floor. Her words were pivotal in our government's decision to mount an offensive against Iraq. And two years later, it was discovered she was the daughter of our Kuwaiti Ambassador, with her words fabricated. CIA did it all in order to help in waging war with Iraq over oil. al-Sabah had already fled the country by this time.

Asbestos - "The greatest corporate mass murder in history" is in reference to companies such as Amatex, Celotex, Eagle-Pilcher, and Unarco falsifying records citing the detriments of asbestos use for the better part of the last century. Company-hired physicians knew of the dangers, yet were paid to avoid informing workers and the public of risks so long as they did not yet show mesothelioma symptoms, or simply remained ignorant of them. By the time the truth came out, many of these companies sold off assets to others, and STILL maintain that they've done no wrong.

Scientology and Cooper - In 1971, journalist and author Paulette Cooper published articles defaming the Church of Scientology - she's the reason the whole Xenu story got out. On came a Church-wide "mission" to harass, threaten, stalk, and even try to kill Cooper. The object of such a game was to force her to shut up, or end up landing her in an institution or jail. It's a method of trying to silence detractors Scientologists still use today. Of course Cooper couldn't be intimidated, even when Scientologists broke into her office, home, made bomb threats, and held meetings to discuss how to put her life in danger effectively. In fact, a full FBI investigation was implemented, ending up with L. Ron Hubbard's own wife and others being imprisoned for over 4 years.

5.

MK-ULTRA Now Called Monarch - Yes, through the 1950's-60's, the government experimented with the possibility of mind control for the purposes of weeding out foreign spies. And yes, doses of psychoactive drugs, various tortures, and even murder occurred as a result. The project was known as MK-ULTRA. It was finally uncovered and released thanks to the Rockefeller Commission - although apparently, today the project is said to be very much still in use - they just changed its name from MK-ULTRA to Monarch.

6.

COINTELPRO - An acronym for Counter Intelligence Program, COINTELPRO was a covert and many times illegal FBI project set to infiltrate, investigate, and put a stop to private or public groups of a "questionable" political affiliation. On record as occurring from 1956-71, the FBI would later claim it was all a matter of your security. Except most of the groups they invaded involved: non-violent civil rights movements, black nationalists, socialist interests, women's rights, the American Indian Movement, and a group involving MLK. And not just to gain information, either. Part of this project involved doing whatever necessary to smear them to the public through manipulation of the media. Thanks to some disturbing scenes in the film "Fahrenheit 911", the public is now aware government infiltration of groups is still very much a fact.

7.

Operation Snow White - For the second time, Scientology makes the list with illegal activities. In the 1970's the Church committed the largest infiltration of government agencies in U.S. history. Over 5,000 of their members invaded, burglarized, and wiretapped quarters and offices across the country. Hundreds of documents were stolen or destroyed, mostly where it came to taxes. Over 136 organizations were infiltrated.

8.

Karen Silkwood - This woman was a pioneer, a union chemical technician who stopped at nothing to reveal serious hazardous violations of health and legal matters within the Kerr-McGee plant near Crescent, Ok. Silkwood testified to the Atomic Energy Commission in 1974 regarding untrained employees performing tasks, gross contamination by radioactive substances, mishandling of fuel rods, and poor decontamination facilities. Before long, it was found her skin and lungs were mysteriously contaminated - followed by objects within her home, in an obvious attempt to poison her. She was later found dead in her car, days before she and her roommate were to report to Los Alamos National Laboratory for in-depth testing and reporting.

9.

Operation Paperclip - Basically the project to "bleach" ex-Nazis' records by the U.S. government in order to allow them to live and work within our own country under protection. President Truman authorized the whole thing. Although he would state out loud that no one who was an active Nazi would be included in government works, behind the scenes it didn't matter. Wernher von Braun, Hubertus Strughold, and Arthur Rudolph were among the detestable men whose backgrounds were erased by the military, with fake histories and identifications instituted.

Big Brother - Also known as the "Deep State" or "Shadow Government", the idea of big brother is usually scoffed at by people who wish to chalk it all up to conspiracy nuts. Except it's one conspiracy proven true. Officially, it's known as "Continuity of Government", and involves a special contingency plan to be implemented in the event of some catastrophe or unforseen circumstance. These include assassinations and terrorist attacks. Technically? A CoG system has been in place since 2001.

New ATM's------ Just like those facial-recognition apps that never work, ATM machines will soon be implemented with recognition technology. Making sure your banking is safer, faster, theft-proof, and probably just as racist as your camera.

12.

Hybrid animals - Scientists are putting in hundreds of hours and millions of dollars into creating specialized testing animals for their uses. Literally, human-animal hybrid creatures are grown, which include to date: sheep with human livers, cow and rabbit eggs consisting of human cells, and intertwined feline-human protein strains. Don't even think of being shocked, though. This avenue of science is most disgusting in its irony alone - it's done only because of course, using our own stem cells, which are already proven wondrous in curing disease and providing great test results in possible treatments, is "wrong".

Pro Wrestling is REALLY Fake - Yeah, everyone knows the moves are staged. But in a more serious blow to the redneck near you, results to the ongoing male soap opera that is pro wrestling is being broadcast online before the shows air. Mystery fan "Dolphins1925" says he has a source right from WWE who leaks to him all the juicy info. Dolphins, in turn, reports on Reddit's pro-wrestling forum.

Tuskegee Syphilis Study - From 1932 to 1972, over 400 African American men afflicted with syphilis were used as guinea pigs for government experiments on treatments for the disease. Some were given incorrect treatments, others were given false information. Some still were refused treatment so the Public Health Service could use them as a control group and observe results. It's one thing for such a project to occur for the purported 6 months - but over 40 years with close to 200 dying from complications and poor treatment is something else.
