10 Celebrity Fights We'd Pay Money To See
Yesterday, Mark Zuckerberg called out Elon Musk for backing down from their proposed fight; an event that UFC CEO Dana White was on board to set up, and that's revenue would have gone to charity.
“If Elon ever gets serious about a real date and official event, he knows how to reach me. Otherwise, time to move on. I’m going to focus on competing with people who take the sport seriously," Zuck said.
Unfortunately, thanks to Elon's excuses, it looks like we'll never get to see the billionaires battle it out in the octagon. But that got us thinking, what other celebrity pairs would we like to see settle their differences with fisticuffs?
From personal beefs to pure entertainment, here are 10 celebrity fight pairings we'd like to see... after Elon and Zuck of course.
1. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson vs John Cena
These two former WWE superstars beefed during their scripted plotlines of 2012 and 2013, and have continued their rivalry into the acting world. Who’s the better actor? The better movie star? The better fighter? This is the chance to settle it once and for all.
2. Will Smith vs Chris Rock
“The Slap” will go down as one of the greatest moments of live television history. Chris and Will seem to have squashed their beef publicly, but who wouldn’t like to see Rock vs Smith for real? We know Chris can take a hit. All he’d need to do for this one to happen is put Jada Smith’s name back in his mouth.
3. xQc vs Adin Ross
You’d be hard pressed to find two more annoying internet personalities, and each streamer is insufferable in their own special way. Ross likes to fancy himself a boxer in training, but there are zero skills there. It’d be nice to see one of them get put in their place.
4. Selena Gomez vs Hailey Bieber
Selena has stated publicly many times that she has no problem with former flame Justin Beiber’s current wife Hailey, but the internet has never truly believed her. This could be Selena’s opportunity to really let her feelings out for all to see.
5. Mitch McConnell vs Dianne Feinstein
The two dinosaurs of the United States senate have each suffered their own recent age-related medical problems. This would be a slow paced fight for sure, but we have to give it to Mitch, seeing as he can move around on his own. Ideally they’d take each-other out for the good of the American people.
6. Kanye West (Ye) vs Pete Davidson
Kanye West has brought about his own downfall thanks to his anti-semetic and homophobic stances. Still, he somehow blames resident celebrity rebound Pete Davidson for stealing Kim Kardashian away from him. Even though Kim and Pete are no longer an item, it would be great to watch Ye try and get his revenge. But in this fight, Pete just has the length… in every imaginable way.
7. Jonah Hill vs Ariana Grande
These two celebrities aren’t beefing directly, but they have each recently been put on blast for engaging in shady dating practices. Hill for calling out his pro-surfer now ex-girlfriend Sarah Brady for looking too good in pictures, and Grande for stealing Broadway Spongebob Ethan Slater away from his wife and daughter after being “just friends” with the family for years. Hill has the size advantage on the petit pop star, but she is a “Dangerous Woman.”
8. Nicki Minaj vs Cardi B
There are few rap beefs bigger than Nicki Manaj and Cardi B. We’ve recently seen what Cardi can do with a microphone. Why not give one to each contestant, and let the two New York rappers throw down?
9. Andrew Tate vs Jake Paul
Two problematic influencers with a background in fighting? Looks like a match made in toxic masculinity heaven. Although the two have teased a tussle before, this would draw some serious ratings. Too bad one of them would have to come out a winner.
10. Donald Trump vs Joe Biden
This is it, the matchup you've been waiting for. This is how they used to settle things back in the ancient times. Except, neither of these seniors would have made it this far back then. With a combined age of 157, this is going to be slow moving. What do you think? Does Joe have what it takes to sleep 45, and secure a second term?
