Though X-Men 97 premiered this week to rave reviews, cementing itself as the first actually decent work Marvel has produced in years, not everyone was heralding the MCU’s latest addition — namely, A-Men.
Shortly after the series’ first episode hit Disney+ on Wednesday, X-Men fan and apparent booty enthusiast @EndymionYT headed to Twitter with an alarming observation about the heroes’ new character design — Rogue may be back, but her a— most certainly isn’t.

“X-Men 97 has stole Rogue’s ass man,” they wrote alongside @memebastard’s side-by-side showing the iconic mutant as depicted in X-Men: The Animated Series versus X-Men 97. “Like come on dude what the hell”

Yet @EndymionYT was far from alone in these concerns. While several others joined them in mourning the loss of Rogue’s butt, even more responded with a resounding “what the actual f—k.”
Me when the cartoon character’s ass in my animated kids show isn’t fat enough https://t.co/2nJguFMskK pic.twitter.com/A4Cs8yTzcG

“Me when the cartoon character’s ass in my animated kids show isn’t fat enough,” @Aguacate_Nino captioned a gif of a man crying over his keyboard.
“If you have a collage of this as a grown—a—man for a kids show back then I think it says more about you being a weirdo,” added @7Spideycomics.
But even as X-Men fans attempt to grapple with Rogue’s newly flat a—, another more pressing question remains: Why does OP have that many photos of her butt saved on their computer?
