Though typically reserved for flies, a customer at what appears to be a Jersey Mike’s location proved that the old adage very much applies to national sandwich chains, having a meltdown after getting refused service for apparently treating an employee “like garbage.”



While it remains a mystery how the ordering process went so far off the rails, the pair seemingly disagree on the specifics of a particular order – “I just want a regular chicken sandwich!” the customer yelled, as the employee insisted that she “can’t do half of” the dish with a particular topping — things quickly took a turn for the worse after the customer amped up the attitude.


“Please leave, I’m not making your sandwich, I’m refusing you service now,” the worker repeated, specifying that her request came from the customer treating her as though she was “stupid.” “I would appreciate it if you left my building.”


But even with these requests, the woman refused to take the L — or head to a nearby Subway – continuing to record the employee.


“Call the police!” the customer insisted before expressing her intentions to take the worker to court. “I’m gonna report you for this, for refusing service to me because I asked for a sandwich”


“You asked for something that I cannot make you!” the employee fired back, an explanation that did not quell the conflict.


“I’m gonna sue you for mistreating me!” she insisted.


It’s unclear whether or not the woman opted to make good on her threat of legal action … or if hangriness played a major role in this sandwich shop meltdown.
