If you’ve ever wondered just how big of a deal ranch dressing is in the Midwest, the answer is a very big deal.

So much of a big deal, in fact, that two angry Jersey Mike’s customers gave their sandwich artist the verbal smackdown of a lifetime after they forgot to add ranch to their Chicken Bacon Ranch sandwich.

“I’ve already had to come in and have my sandwich corrected!” the shopper yelled at two workers behind the counter. Though the employee attempted to de-escalate the situation, the woman refused to back down, announcing that she would be “happy to make a scene.”

“What kind of moron doesn’t put ranch on a Chicken Bacon Ranch?” she yelled.

Though the customer appeared to briefly exit the store, she stormed back in, demanding a refund.

“Just give me my money back!” she screamed, before picking up a sandwich placed behind the counter and hurling it at the employees.

As the workers grappled with how to proceed, one appearing to hold the other back from (rightfully) kicking the sour sandwich snob’s a—, a nearby customer appeared to call it what it was.

“That was assault, wasn’t it?” they asked.

Ranch dressing: It apparently is that serious.
