In recent months, Ghislaine Maxwell has been trying to downplay her relationship with Jeffrey Epstein. According to Maxwell, she was just an ex-girlfriend and property manager — she didn’t know about all of his crimes or how everything worked!

Unfortunately for Maxwell, recently leaked emails show that both knew about his crimes and also about how everything worked. Really puts a dent in her “I’m innocent” case, eh?

According to Bloomberg, “Maxwell opened at least one foreign bank account using one of his addresses, was a named director on one of Epstein’s main revenue-generating companies and traded stock in a company they were both invested in, details that haven’t been previously reported.”

Not only that, but Maxwell and Epstein talked about pursuing joint fertility treatment, even though Maxwell later insisted she had mostly cut ties with him by that time. Messages between them also reveal discussions about undermining women who made accusations against the pair, as well as further emails that show Epstein was a creep and that Maxwell absolutely knew about it.

The leak wasn’t all gross, however. They also have Epstein’s Amazon receipts, which include an FBI agent costume, teeth whitener, schoolgirl uniforms, a leather whip, a pair of size 12 Crocs and a box of Nabisco Nilla Mini Wafers.

Okay, I guess all that’s also gross.

What can we learn from this? At the very least, I think we should know better than to trust anything Maxwell says — not that you (hopefully) needed that lesson.
