Dentists are a wild bunch. They spend their days looking into people’s mouths, and if they ever see an issue, it’s likely too late for there to be anything the patient can do about it.

Because of this, it’s no wonder that dentists have long been considered sadists. Sure, there are some reasons to believe that that’s actually the case, but for the most part, many dentists are victims of the circumstances of their job. Except this one guy in Minnesota, who really just seems like a prick.

Per CNN, a Minnesota woman named Kathleen Wilson had some teeth problems, and so, she went to a dentist named Dr. Kevin Molldrem to fix them. Seeing the extent of the damage to her teeth, Molldrem knew that there was much work to be done.

Now, this is what makes Molldrem different from other dentists. While your run-of-the-mill dentist may have spread these fixes over several sessions, Molldrem said “y’all mind if I wild out?” and (allegedly) “performed eight crowns, four root canals and 20 fillings in a single visit in July 2020.”

Accomplishing this also involved him (again, allegedly) giving Wilson 960 milligrams of anesthetic. An expert consulted by Wilson’s attorney says the maximum dosage for someone her size is about half that. And before you ask, no, being on too much anesthetic isn’t the “fun” kind of taking too many drugs.

Naturally, Wilson is now pursuing a lawsuit against Molldrem. If what she’s saying is true, I think it’s a pretty easy victory, and hopefully she can score herself a new set of veneers to make up for all the damage the dentist did.

But if you want to prevent the same thing from happening to you, make sure to floss… or wait, maybe not.
