Days after a ufologist presented two alleged alien corpses before Mexican Congress, one shitposting UFO truther claimed to have found themselves particularly inspired … to finally finish their years-long alien craft project.

“Made my own Peru Alien mummy,” Redditor u/DarkPixelmind captioned a photo claiming to depict their own DIY ET shared to r/aliens, alleging that they “began working on it in 2018” shortly after the specimens were unearthed in Cusco and just “finished three days ago.”

“What do you think?” they asked. “Should I send it to the Mexican government so they can add it to their collection?”

While u/DarkPixelmind may not have received many clear answers on whether they should offer their latest arts and crafts foray into congressional hands, one thing was certain — their fake alien was way more convincing than its Cusco counterparts.

“That looks 10x more real than the Mexico ones,” wrote u/Path_of_creation85. “Great job.”

“My god.. the subtle off-brown coloring.. the tasteful thickness of it,” wrote u/Vantamanta in their own UFO truther version of the business card scene from American Psycho. “By God. It's even got a bussy.”

But even amid this praise, a few questions began emerging. Citing u/DarkPixelmind’s questionable Reddit history — “You're a mtf transgender ex-Muslim currently fighting in Ukraine?” asked u/eshatoa, referencing their past posts — several began questioning whether they, too, were a fraud.

“Rofl I needed to see a troll like this,” commented u/humboldtliving. “Thank you go back to your bridge now.”

“Homie a busy man,” joked u/scott_fx4real.”

Fortunately for these skeptics, a reverse-image search proved these theories correct, drawing several hits predating his recent entry.

So take it from this tale of conspiracy Reddit woe: Life imitates art … and s—tposting imitates Mexican Congress.
