Transphobes Fail to Recognize a Trans Man Then Bully Him for Not Being More “Obvious” about Being Trans

The war on transgender people using the public bathrooms of their choice keeps on raging, though conservatives have overplayed their hand on “knowing what all transgender people look like.”

When TikTok creator @yourlocaltranpa made a video in response to Kansas’ new anti-trans bathroom bill, conservatives, who claim they can always tell whether someone is transgender or not, had no idea @yourlocaltranpa was trans.

“So y’all don’t get to say anything when this face walks into a women’s restroom in Kansas, “ he says.

The conservatives subsequently lost their minds as they were faced with the reality that most transgender people aren’t easily spotted, something they openly pride themselves on being able to do.

Lauren Reece (@laurenpcrna on TikTok), a registered anesthesiologist and an LGBTQ+ advocate in Alabama, made a series of TikToks on the responses to @yourlocaltranpa’s video.

“We have officially broken the brains of conservatives,” she announces as she shows clips of conservatives confusing @yourlocaltranpa as a cisgender man instead of a transgender man.

One video confuses the anti-trans bill @yuolocaltranpa is talking about as being in favor of trans people, not against them. One uploader realizes that @yourlocaltranpa is a trans man but is confused about why he would go to the women’s bathroom.

The majority of the reactions are violent, with threats being made to @yourlocaltranpa, but in the most gender-affirming way possible. They all perceive him as a cisgender man.

“They are so confused that they are actually using the correct pronouns,” Reece comments.

One of the most hilarious reactions is when @yourlocaltranpa talks about being born with a vagina and a creator stitches the video saying, “The hell you say?” flabbergasted.

Reece shows in one of her videos that some of the conservatives do come to the realization that @yourlocaltranpa is a trans man, though, they then blame him for not making it clearer to them, before demanding he use the women’s restroom.

“Trans men exist. You can’t change that. And you’ve been using the bathroom next to them for decades and you never even knew it,” Reece states.
