Last week we covered the TikTok prankster Bacari Ogarro, or Mizzy, who went viral for walking into a random person’s house. The 18-year-old’s stunt was widely criticized across social media, and Met Police began searching for him after another video allegedly showed him ‘stealing’ an elderly woman’s dog.

Now, the London-based influencer has turned himself into police after being denounced by multiple government officials. All of his major social media accounts have been deleted.

“This content is distributing and upsetting,” Labour’s shadow DCMS minister Alex Davies-Jones said. “Yet another example of how we desperately need the Online Safety Bill to hold the social media platforms to account.”

Conservative Assembly member Susan Hall agreed. “No legitimate social media platform should be hosting this thug’s vile videos.”

In an interview with The Independent, Mizzy spoke about his newfound fame and controversy.

“It’s wild how I’ve got that mainstream,” he said. “I ain’t got too much to say to them people just that I know myself and so do my fans.”

He went on to say that while he regrets walking into a man’s home, he stands by the majority of his content and decisions.

“Controversy, even though it’s not good, is the best way to blow up on social media,” he said. “I always know outrage is going to happen. I know exactly what I’m doing and the consequences of my actions.”

Mizzy was previously arrested for a video where he appears to harass Orthodox Jewish people.

Met Police were searching for him under “a suspected breach of a Community Protection Notice.” It is currently unclear what consequences, if any, he will face.
