A video of a dog seemingly transforming into a man mid-run has gone viral online, sparking a social media debate between the believers and nonbelievers over what is actually going on in this strange video.
The potential shapeshifter was caught on tape by a security camera in Mexico, and you can clearly see some kind of creature running on all fours at the start of the video. However, the being suddenly gets onto its hind legs and starts running like a human.
There also appears to be a moment where the unidentified running object briefly turns into a white blur, which some are pointing to as evidence of the moment of transformation. You can see the video for yourself and decide how convincing it is.

Plenty of people decried the video as A.I., a man getting up and running, or just a low quality hoax. But there were those that felt that this was legitimate evidence of a shapeshifter being found mid-shift.
That’s 100% a Skinwalker

What even is a shapeshifter? It’s exactly what it sounds like. Someone or something that has the ability to transform into another type of creature, most often a human who can shift into animal form (or vice versa).
Shapeshifters are common among cryptids and monsters, with vampires, werewolves, wendigos and many other creepy creatures all having the ability to transform from an animal into a human or humanoid at a moment’s notice. It was featured heavily in Norse, Greek and Indian mythology as well, dating back to some of the earliest storytelling and myth-making in civilizations.
But shapeshifters aren’t only creatures in folklore. They’ve also become prominent in certain conspiracy theories, including the belief that shapeshifting reptilian aliens take on human form and gain political power to control the Earth.
While skeptics believe that the idea of shapeshifting is a bunch of hocus pocus, there are still plenty of people who think that shapeshifters are real and very much still out there. It can often be associated with death, as some insist that shapeshifters are actually ghosts who have been given these abilities in the afterlife.
Was this a real-life example of shapeshifting out in the wild? Or just a dude who was on the ground and then slowly got up and started running?
The answer really depends on whether you are a skeptic or a believer.
