Move over, critics, crew members, and everyone who has grown accustomed to HBO’s Sunday slate of premium series – Oreo has joined the crusade against The Idol, much to The Weeknd’s vocal chagrin.

Shortly after the credits rolled on the controversial series’ third hairbrush-fucking installment on Sunday, June 18, The Weeknd – a.k.a. Able Tesfaye – took to Twitter thumbs blazing, ready to thwart viewers piling on his critically-panned show.

“Bruh if you don’t shave that shit stain off your chin LOL,” he fired back to one viewer criticizing his acting chops after telling another to “go cry about it more.”

But it wasn’t just fans getting in on the fun. Brand Twitter, in all its corporate-approved glory, decided to hop on The Idol hate bandwagon, with Oreo sounding off on just how much the series speaks to HBO’s drop in quality.

“Where’s the lie,” the cookie brand quipped alongside a video likening the show to Kristen Wiig’s Dooneese in Saturday Night Live’s “The Maharelle Sisters” sketch.

Naturally, Tesfaye was less than thrilled to discover he failed to garner the stamp of approval from Milk’s favorite cookie, launching an all-out war against the snack purveyor.

“Don’t make me dunk you in some milk,” he quipped in his first post denouncing Oreo.

“I’m a fat n**** I took that shit personal,” he replied to one fan asking why their posts, including one rejoicing the show’s rumored cancellation, stung so hard.

Though ultimately, Oreos and Tesfaye settled their beef, Tesfaye reiterating his appreciation for the cookie brand, tweeting, “naw I can’t beef with you @Oreo too many beautiful memories… I’m dunking you in some champagne tonight.”

Chips Ahoy, if you’re looking to make friends with two really horny showrunners, now’s your time to shine.
