Amid all the misfires of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, the plot, the pacing and well, its inability to accomplish anything a successful film should, it seems the latest MCU installment managed to do something right  — curate an uncanny resemblance to the cinematic masterpiece that is 2003’s Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over.

Days ahead of the film’s theatrical premiere on Friday, February 17, military propaganda enthusiasts, Marvel fans noticed an uncanny resemblance to the flick’s heroes and villains to that of the third Spy Kids film.

Alongside the similarities between Juni and Carmen Cortez’s body armor to the yass-ified iterations sported by both Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lily — similarities that even include their ketchup and mustard color palettes, the film’s respective villains are nearly uncanny.
