The b-ball brouhaha happened Friday when Newsom and his wife, Jennifer Siebel Newsom, toured the Beijing Yuying School in the nation’s capital, where they scoped out the institution’s gardens, outdoor education facilities, and of course, their basketball court, where the lawmaker found himself quite literally dunking on school children.
During the game, which has since been immortalized on Twitter, Newsom had his eyes a little too on the prize, committing in offensive foul on a young student.
