Steven Seagal has lived a genuinely unbelievable life. Despite being a terrible actor and (allegedly) sexually assaulting every woman he’s ever met, Seagal has managed to be in over 55 movies, has somehow been recognized as a tulku (incarnate Buddhist lama from a past life) and even put out two nearly-listenable albums.

Given this track record, there’s really nothing one can say about Seagal that isn’t at least somewhat believable. For example, if you told me that Steven Seagal played tug-of-war with a lion/tiger mix alongside former British MP George Galloway, I would question why you got so specific, but I would believe you.

And it’s a good thing, too, because that really happened.

According to the Mirror, the incident in question took place at the Fame Park private zoo in Dubai, because *of course* this happened in Dubai. The Mirror reports that the pair lost their tug of war with the Liger, resulting in them taking a photo with a sign reading “we lost.” Sorry, guys — better luck next time.

Naturally, the duo also took some other pictures while they were at the private zoo, such as this one where they’re holding a giant snake:

And this one where they’re chilling with a monkey:

All in all, it seemed like a fun afternoon. Now that it’s over, though, Seagal can get back to making terrible movies with names like The Asian Connection and Gutshot Straight.
