Police in Connecticut are confused, and not just because people keep choosing to live in Connecticut. Instead, their confusion stems from the fact that someone in East Hartford appears to be painting squirrels.

So far, two different painted squirrels have been found — one is red, and the other is blue. There is zero indication of where these squirrels came from, nor does anyone know why they were painted in the first place, but the police say they’re on the hunt for whoever did it.

Any ideas?
