When you’re passing under a bridge and see those signs that say “8ft, 2in,” there’s a good reason why they’re there. That’s because such signs are a warning to all trucks going through that, if their vehicle is any taller than that, it’s about to lose its top.

Despite how obvious this information may seem, many people routinely ignore it. We’ve seen cars have their tops popped off by bridges, and now, we’ve got a ship trying to make it under a bridge and definitely blowing it.


Well, I guess the ship gets through just fine, but the same can’t be said about its cargo.
