What do you do when you want to get in the mood? Do you go on a romantic date? Watch a sexy movie, or get into some steamy role-play? Perhaps you could try a natural aphrodisiac like pomegranate, watermelon, or pistachio nuts to get the juices flowing. Those are all decent options, but now there’s a more powerful player in the game, sex chocolate.

Tabs is a new brand of “sex chocolates” that’s being advertised all over TikTok and Twitter, designed to give couples a horny kick in the stomach. Only, does it work a little too well? If their promotional material is even remotely accurate, popping one of these makes it nigh impossible to get a single thing done other than your partner.

“Sex chocolate might be as bad as meth,” @BreakingBadIrny captioned one of their videos on Twitter. Multiple Tabs ads feature influencer-like characters unable to complete daily tasks without breaking down.

But perhaps even worse than the content itself, is the ubiquity of its advertisements. In the last two days, dozens of popular meme and shitposting accounts across Twitter and TikTok have been posting the ads, much to the dismay of the pages’ fans.

“And so the popular gimmick account reaches the end of its life cycle,” @samcharacterlim commented on @BreakingBadIrny’s post. “I may be a sellout,” he admitted.

Origins of iconic images, Unhinged Tweets, Internet Hall of Fame, Worst Deleted Tweets, Bros Helping Bros, and Strange Dualingo Sentences are just a few of the accounts that have promoted Tabs in the last few days.

Of all the products to persuade content creators to give into the sinful forces of personal gain, sex chocolate is concerningly ironic. Hmm, maybe it really does work… a little too well.
