It isn’t particularly difficult to become a cop in the U.S. All you really need to do is perform around 21 weeks of training, pass a test with more than 70 percent and get checked by a few interviewers and boom! You can now begin needlessly discharging your firearm.

What, though, if someone can’t pass that relatively low bar, but still wants to feel more powerful than other people? In that case, you go into security.
