On December 6th, Redditor u/Smart_Calendar1874 headed to r/AskReddit to ask a very pressing question: “How would you get a small cylinder (5.1in length, ~4.5in girth) unstuck from a mini M&M tube filled with butter and microwaved mashed banana?”

Redditors immediately took notice of his precise measurements and realized this young man had his pickle in a predicament — and by “pickle,” I mean “penis.” As such, they responded to his cry for help in three distinct ways: 1) genuine advice; 2) this dude can’t be serious; and 3) haha nice dick joke.

One user reached out to Smart_Calendar1874 asking, “If it’s not your penis, please post a photo so I can visualize what you’re talking about. Please only post the photo if its not your penis.” To which Smart_Calander1874 responded, “I’m not comfortable sharing the specifics of my experiment with strangers.”

Another user took to the thread with a more serious response, hoping to help (kinda): “If this cylinder were attached to another structure, like a body, if you will; I would hope this body has some sort of grounding structure, on which the greater structure stands. Imagine something like feet. Stick the feet in an ice bath, while simultaneously using a hot blow dryer on the mini m&ms tube. Be sure to move the dryer enough to distribute the heat properly while avoiding the risk of melting plastic onto your perfectly normal sized cylinder.”

The oddly specific conundrum was so meme-able it had to be a setup. The possibility that someone actually got their dick stuck inside a Mini M&M Tube was hilarious enough that once you considered this same person filled that tube with, "butter and microwaved mashed banana," you realize you aren’t dealing with a genuine “cry for help.”

Apparently, Smart_Calendar1874 was upset with all the attention his homemade butter and mashed banana pocket pussy received that he removed his post after it received 25,000 upvotes and 2,800 comments. But people who caught the thread wouldn’t let him forget it and so they meme’d the poor boy with his “cylinder” stuck inside a mini M&M tube, as documented by Know Your Meme

So while Smart_Calendar1874 was clearly farming for karma, he did find some much needed self-assurance from u/JasnonLikesCTE: “That’s no small cylinder — it sounds like a perfectly adequate cylinder to me. Avg size you might say.”
