Almost two years after The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Jen Shah was nearly apprehended on camera by Homeland Security, the NYPD and a series of armed SWAT team dudebros, the day fans of decent Housewives franchises have dreaded is finally here — our girl is going to prison.
On Friday, February 17, Shah will be relieved of her longtime burden of carrying the entire RHOSLC franchise on her Louis Vuitton-outfitted back, reporting to Texas’s Federal Prison Camp Bryan where she will begin serving her 6.5-year sentence after pleading guilty to wire fraud last summer.

Accused of running a telemarketing scheme targeting the elderly, among other vulnerable groups — we can only guess how much she regrets calling fellow RHOSLC icon/alleged cult leader Mary Cosby, who is married to her step-grandfather, a “grandpa f**ker” — it seems the star is ready to turn over a new leaf.

Beyond her sick pre-prison tats, Shah’s attorney Priya Chaudhry maintains that the reality TV mogul’s “resolve to make her victims whole and to turn her life around is unyielding.”

“She is committed to serving her sentence with courage and purpose, fueled by her desire to make amends for the hurt she has caused and to help others in her new community,” Chaudhry told Us Weekly ahead of Shah’s stay at the relatively high-end prison, where she will be joined by fellow #GirlBoss, convicted Theranos scammer Elizabeth Holmes.
It is unclear whether the two will partake in a documentary about attempting to escape together entitled The Shah-shank Redemption: Heading Holmes.
So, Jen, we’ll miss you … even though the only thing you’re guilty of isn’t “being Shah-mazing.”
